DOZENS of weird and wonderful scarecrows recently invaded a village near Yate.
Hawkesbury Scarecrow Trail returned last week with 20 scarecrows to find around the village of Hawkesbury Upton.
The trail included a scary spider, a farmer with their tractor as well as a spooky ghost.

The event ran from October 21 to October 29.
All profits went towards Hawkesbury Baby and Toddler Group.
The group is open every Tuesday from 9.30am to 11am in the village hall.
