FIREFIGHTERS tackled a large blaze last week near Wickwar.
Crews were called to the scene at approximately 5.09pm on Tuesday, January 23.
During the incident, teams from Yate Fire Station and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service extinguished multiple metal shipping containers.
The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
It is understood no one was injured.
A spokesperson from Yate Fire Station said a “nearby property was saved due to firefighting tactics of all involved”.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 5.09pm on January 23 to reports of a fire near Wickwar.
“On arrival, firefighters found a group of metal shipping containers alight.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire and monitored the scene overnight to ensure the fire did not reignite. The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
“No one was injured.”
