A NEW Year’s Eve party ended in violence when two teenagers assaulted other guests,
a court heard.
Robert Pace, aged 19, of Bath Road, Stroud, and Brendan Price, aged 19 of Westward Road, Ebley, were expected to be tried at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday, December 17 on charges of assault causing actual bodily harm.
At the last minute, Pace admitted common assault while Price admitted assault causing actual bodily harm during a party in Hilltop Close, Stroud on Monday, December 31, 2012.
Nick Fridd, defending Pace, said he had a ‘relatively short’ criminal record.
He was given 60 hours of unpaid work.
The details of Price’s assault were not discussed as he will be sentenced on Friday, January 10.
