LIBRARIES across the county are hosting special events to celebrate National Libraries Day.
The annual event seeks to highlight the myriad of services available in local facilities.
The county’s mobile library will be out and about in Gloucestershire throughout the day on Saturday, February 8.
Snap a photo of the mobile library and send it to readiscover@gloucestershire.gov.uk and you could be in with a chance of winning a £20 book token.
Visitors will have the chance to meet local authors in Dursley library. Christopher Edge, author of Twelve Minutes to Midnight, and writer and illustrator Tom Percival will be giving talks and doing book signings in Dursley from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Cllr Dorcas Binns, cabinet member with responsibility for libraries, said: "National Libraries Day is the culmination of a week's worth of celebrations in school, college, university, workplace and public libraries across the UK.
“There are lots of events going on around Gloucestershire and I hope plenty of people are able to go along and share their love of libraries."
