WOTTON’S library welcomed some unusual guests as a hedgehog hospital came to town.

Children poured into the library to meet some of the Help a Hedgehog Hospital’s spiky residents.

The hospital visited Wotton-under-Edge library for a half-term activity morning on Tuesday, February 18.

Carer and Tetbury area warden Mary Hinton showed youngsters some of her little friends and explained how best to care for stray hogs and hoglets.

Help a Hedgehog Hospital (3H) was set up by former veterinary nurse Annie Parfitt in 2008.

Volunteers provide hog care across Gloucestershire, as well as all administration and interacting with the public.
