POLICE are appealing for information on an incident of assault and criminal damage in The Sidings, Filton on Monday, February 24.
Three men were seen acting suspiciously at around 6.15pm and, when challenged by a 50-year-old man, they pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the chest area. He was left shaken but not seriously hurt. The attackers then damaged a garage door and ran off towards the main A4174, near the Abbeywood retail park.
They were aged between 17-20. One was wearing a half-white and half-black hooded top and white trainers with a stripe on the side. A second was wearing a blue shell suit-style top. There is no description of the third man.
Anyone who saw the incident, or who has any information, is asked to call PC 2613 Nick Gale quoting reference number 19248/14.
