POLICE in Dursley are trying to trace the driver of a 4x4 vehicle that was towing a trailer when it struck a van and a car coming the other way.
The collision happened on the B4060 at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, April 2.
The white 4x4 was towing a small trailer with mesh sides that was around 2ft in height, believed to be an animal or agricultural trailer.
It was heading around a bend towards Stinchcombe when it is believed a gate at the rear came open and struck and damaged a Citroen Picasso and Vauxhall Combo van coming the other way.
No one was injured but the 4x4 failed to stop. Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 209 of April 2.
