The COUNTY's music service, Gloucestershire Music, is offering free music sessions to all ages when they join up online.
The team at Gloucestershire Music believe it is important to give as many young people the chance to learn and now they can so are inviting people to join up and receive a free introductory session of music at a centre near them.
You just need to be aged seven or above (parents can learn to) and have a desire to learn. No musical knowledge is necessary.
During the free session people will be given the chance to try a clarinet, trumpet, baritone or violin before deciding which one is for you.
The weekly sessions operate from our music centres in Cirencester, Gloucester, Stroud, Newent and the Forest of Dean.
Cllr Paul McLain, cabinet member for children and young people and commissioning said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to try a musical instrument free of charge and take up a new hobby if you enjoy the session.”
Gloucestershire Music has one of the largest stocks of instruments in the UK offering a wide variety of activities at their national award winning music centres.
