A CAREERS workshop for jobseekers aged over 50 takes place in Yate next week.

The free event aimed at helping older people find work is being held at the Armadillo Youth Cafe on Station Road on Wednesday, August 13 (10am-3.30pm).

It will a speaker from the Job Centre, interview tips, CV help and information on the hidden job market.

There will be a free lunch for anyone aged over 50 who is unemployed and lives in South Gloucestershire.

The workshop is sponsored by South Gloucestershire Council and is being run by Red Door Training and Coaching.
