The HOUSING developer behind a 300-home in Morton Way site in Thornbury has sold 40 per cent of the available homes in the first week of sales.
Bloor Homes, who are developing ‘Thornbury Fields’ say that the government’s Help to Buy scheme has been particularly popular.
The first new residents of the site are expected to move in before Christmas.
The estate will consist of three, four and five-bedroom houses, along with a shop and public park.
Michele Rose, sales director for Bloor Homes South West comments: “There has been a real buzz amongst the Bloor team ahead of the launch and it is very encouraging to hear that this excitement has been shared amongst local residents.
“This will be the first new build development in more than 20 years in the area, and early feedback has shown that potential purchasers are particularly excited about the personalisation options available on all of our homes here at Thornbury Fields.
“With the high level of both enquiries and sales we have already seen, including six sales in the first hour of release, I would encourage anyone interested in securing one of these homes for themselves to register their interest now.”
