POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision off the M32 in Bristol in which a 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries.

At about 10.30pm on Saturday (August 29), the man was driving a Toyota Corrola on the outbound stretch of the motorway towards the M4 and turned off at junction one (Hambrook).

He lost control of his car and ended up down an embankment.

He suffered serious injuries to his head and body and is undergoing treatment at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Police are  appealing to anyone who saw the collision or who saw the car prior to the collision.
