POLICE are seeking information after a man was seen committing a lewd act in Cheltenham.
The incident took place in Winston Churchill Garden between 7.30pm and 8pm on August 31.
A witness initially saw the man on the Honeybourne Line, next to the pathway down to the park. It is believed the offender exited the park via the Lower High Street entrance.
He is described as being a dark skinned male, possibly Asian, aged about 40, 5 ’7” tall, large build, with a goatee beard, large nose, and a pitted skin complexion.
He was wearing a plain black coat, with a hood pulled up tight over his head, blue denim jeans and carrying a black plastic sports bag over his right shoulder. He was carrying a black can with red writing, which the victim thought was a European brand of beer.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting Incident 374 of 31 August.
