OUR Spring programme ended on April 27 with our AGM.
New members were welcomed.
Our Summer outings programme began on May 11with a hearty carvery meal at Fromebridge Mill, beside the river Frome on the edge of Whitminster village.
On the June 8 a visit by coach was arranged to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford.
A Victorian Manor House set in over 160 acres of parkland with a walled garden & wonderful collection of mature trees, different species of birds, mammals, primates & reptiles.
Our members and volunteers enjoyed a hot lunch and dessert in the Orangery, served by friendly staff, and followed by a leisurely walk round the gardens.
Our next outing is to the Woodlands Tavern, Llanfair Discoed for lunch on the 22nd June.
We are grateful to our organisers and volunteers that make these outings possible & a success.
The group is self funded and run by volunteers.
