POLICE are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died following a collision in the Forest of Dean.
The crash happened on the A48 near to the National Diving and Activity Centre at Tidenham at around 5.15pm on Sunday July 6.
The motorcycle carrying the rider and pillion passenger, both men, were travelling from Sedbury when it left the road.
The rider was taken to Southmead hospital in Bristol with serious injuries. Sadly he died of his injuries in the early hours of July 7.
The passenger was also taken to Southmead for treatment for leg injuries described as not life-changing.
The road was closed for around four hours as officers carried out investigations.
Anyone who may have information on this incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 370 of July 6.
