Police appealing for help to trace woman who intervened in Cribbs Causeway assault

POLICE are trying to trace a woman who stepped in to try to stop an assault taking place at Cribbs Causeway.

The incident happened at about midday on Tuesday, July 12 outside Marks & Spencer on the shopping complex.

The man was arrested following the incident and subsequently charged with attempted murder and has appeared in court.

The police would like to trace the woman who used her shopping bag to try to stop the assault taking place.

The police are hoping she or anyone who knows her or was outside Marks & Spencer at the time of the incident on Tuesday, July 12, to contact South Gloucestershire CID, quoting the following reference 70809/14.
