LOTTERY players in South Gloucestershire have a week left to check they are not sitting on a goldmine.

A mystery ticket holder, who bought a winning ticket in the district, has not still not come forward to claim a EuroMillions prize worth £51,232.90.

The lucky ticket matched the five main numbers in the EuroMillions draw on March 28, 2014. The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 3, 4, 19, 28, 43 and the Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 7.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding.”

The closing date to make a claim on the ticket is Wednesday, September 24.

If no-one comes forward the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
