A THORNBURY author has published his collection of twelve short stories - with a twist.

Tony Domaille, who lives in Manor Walk in the town, published his book – Indian Summer Sunshine and other stories – earlier this year with all royalties going to Children in Need.

Tony is known as the writer and producer of a number of amateur dramatics shows but decided to turn his attention to the collection of short stories.

He has had a number of one act plays published by Lazy Bees, including the award winning 'I Believe in Angels’.

His other publishing credits include a number of stories which were part of multi-author anthologies.

Indian summer Sunshine and other stories is not the first piece of Tony’s that has been published on the global internet market.

'Miracles,' a performance rights free one act play for church groups is also available on the website.

With Children in Need night fast approaching he said that he’s hoping the book will raise a decent amount of money for the charity.

I’m hoping that publishing early will get a head of steam going so that we will have a good sum raised for the charity later in the year.’

The artwork on the cover of the book was done by Sarah Pilcher, a photographer also from Thornbury.
