A DURSLEY woman is calling for votes so that her company can take its business idea to Pitch for Rich – a nationwide scheme by Richard Branson which offers the opportunity of funding to promising entrepreneurs.

Waterless Ltd is a Gloucestershire-based company that create Nilaqua – a range of cleaning products that can be wiped off with just a towel and can ease the discomfort of terminally ill bed-bound patients.

Having already made it to the NHS catalogue, the team now want to take their idea to Richard Branson in his Dragons Den-style initiative Pitch to Rich.

Jessica Efford, of Dursley, is the sales executive of Waterless Ltd.

She said: “We just made it into the NHS catalogue, but still millions of people are not aware of our revolutionary products.

“Nilaqua is liquid soaps and shampoos that your just towel off. They have all the convenience of a dry shampoo and the cleaning power of a normal shampoo.

“We have pitched to Richard Branson to create awareness, bring jobs back to the local area and help millions of people. We really want to win and are grateful for your vote.”

The top ten in each category will go through and meet Richard Branson, be interviewed on TV with the potential to win £250,000. There are also prizes for runners up.
