THE sentencing of a 74-year-old Cam man who has become a sexual danger to women as a result of early dementia was delayed by another month because a mental health assessment was not completed.

Michael Webber spent 245 days in custody waiting for his case to be dealt with before he was given bail last month.

Yesterday he was due before Gloucester Crown Court to be sentenced but liaison psychiatric nurse Andy Webb said a care plan has still not been finalised.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC adjourned the case for another month until June 3.

Webber, of Draycott, Cam, has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on April 5 last year, a woman on June 18, and another woman on two occasions between May 14 and June 15.

He is on bail subject to a 7pm to 7am curfew, a condition not to make contact of any kind with the three victims and a requirement for him to cooperate with all future assessments.
