FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a milk tanker on fire in Dymock.
At around 1am yesterday morning two appliances from Newent Fire Station and Ledbury Fire Station attended the incident on the B4215 just outside Dymock.
Firefighters used one main jet and two hose reels to extinguish the fire which was believed to have started in the breaks of the trailer unit.
The quick thinking lorry driver had managed to detach the trailer from the lorry preventing further damage to the vehicle.
