FIREFIGHTERS were called to a boiler explosion at an ice cream parlour in Bristol last night.
Five fire engines from stations around the city attended the incident at Kaspa’s Desserts in Park Street at 8.15pm.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the property to find a small fire in the kitchen area and stairwell.
They used two high pressure hose reels to extingush the fire, which is thought to have started accidentally.
The road was closed in both directions as crews were on scene.
