POLICE in Thornbury are appealing to find the owners of two recovered bikes.

The two bikes, one black and one green, were discovered in the Thornbury Community Gardens and are believed to have been stolen, but no reports have been made to police that match the descriptions.

Officers have asked for residents to take precautions by not leaving bikes and other valuables in a location where they can be easily stolen and to make sure they keep a record of the frame number, registering it on www.immobilise.com.

The rightful owners of the two bikes have been asked to get in touch with PCSO Sheryl Drewitt by emailing sheryl.drewitt@avonandsomerset.police.uk or by calling 101 and asking to speak to the Thornbury beat team.
