FOUR escaped alpacas ran riot in Thornbury yesterday morning, having escaped onto the road from a nearby field.
Police were called just before 6.50am after reports of the four legged animals, which were initially thought to be llamas, had managed to get onto Cumbria Close in Thornbury, having escaped from a field on Hacket Lane.
Thornbury resident Cliff Edge captured a fantastic video of the Alpaca on his car's dashcam as they ran around obstructing traffic on Morton Way.
Officers attended the scene and the owner was eventually able to return the escapees to their field by 8.10am.
