WEDDING fever is set to hit Thornbury next month as the town hosts its very own “living” festival.

“Beaux and Belles” is set to showcase the variety on offer in the town designed to make that special day even better, with couples soon to tie the knot asked to make sure they come along.

As well as an incredible array of stalls in St Mary Centre, in which retailers will be showcasing their products and services, 15 businesses from the Thornbury area are taking part in a Beaux and Belles Trail.

Visitors can pick up a map from the festival information centre, get them stamped by each venue, and return it to the information centre to be entered into a wedding raffle, drawn at the end of the day.

Each business in the festival has offering a generous gift to create a prestigious prize.

Event organiser Liz Pell from Finishing Touches in Thornbury said that she was looking forward to the event and hoped it would “highlight the range of services available in the town to ensure couples have the perfect day.”

Beaux and Belles takes place on Saturday, September 16, across Thornbury, between 10am and 3pm.
