2. The Gloucestershire County Council Bus Lane Order 2017 shall come into operation on the 15th January 2018 and may be cited as the Gloucestershire County Council Bus

Lane Order 2017.

This administrative change updates the basis of all Bus Lanes in Gloucestershire, including

any made in the future, and therefore potentially affects every District and Parish.

VARIATION OF

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 BY REVOKING ALL EXISTING SEALED PLANS AND REPLACING WITH A NEW SET OF SEALED PLANS

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation under the | Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 ("the 2017 Order") by revoking the existing sealed plans affixed with the common seal of the County Council and incorporated within the 2017 | Order. These are now replaced by a new set of sealed plans incorporated within the 2017 Order. This is principally an administrative change which will permit the County Council to replace the current map based system with a new version which shows the parking restrictions in a new visual format.

In moving between the digital mapping systems, several visualisation inconsistences were identified between the digital record and a number of the sealed plans. In carrying out this exercise the plans referred to in the schedule belowhave been corrected to remove any anomalies, full details ofwhich are to be found in the accompanying StatementofReasons:

This variation shall come into operation on the 15th January 2018 by revoking all existing sealed plans incorporated within the 2017 Order and replacing with a new set of sealed plans. This administrative change updates the plans throughout the County and therefore affects every District.

The usual exemptions continue to apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled persons vehicles.
