A MAN was seriously injured after his car overturned into a ditch near Frampton-on-Severn on Sunday.
The 48-year-old, who has not been named but is believed to be from the area, suffered serious head injuries after his Ford Cougar somersaulted on an unclassified stretch of road between Frampton and Fretherne around 2.45pm.
The driver was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital where he remains in a serious condition
His passenger, a 39-year-old woman, was discharged from hospital following treatment.
No other cars were involved.
The road was closed for six hours while police accident investigators examined the scene.
