Look at your own practices

SIR - Can anyone tell me why bovine TB, which was supposed to have been eradicated some years ago, suddenly appears again?

Farmers are once again blaming the wildlife, ie badgers. Badgers have been here all the time so why suddenly put the blame of them? I think it is high time the farmers looked at their own misgivings with what they spread on the land from their slurry lagoons which has been stored up sometimes as long as a year. What diseases would we humans suffer if we did the same on our gardens?

So come off it, you farmers, otherwise we shall have no wildlife left. Your record for conserving it is not very good as it is and leaves much to be desired.
