Leadership worries

SIR - This is an open letter to Stroud MP David Drew.

I have nothing but the highest regard for the work you do as a constituency MP. It upsets me, therefore, to say that I cannot vote for you whilst your party has its present leader.

To indirectly express support for someone who has dragged the world into the current situation would be more than one could stomach.

Happening to be in Spain just after the Madrid bombing, it seemed a matter of when, not if, Britain suffers the same fate.

An illegal war we all knew was nothing to do with 9/11 against someone who was an enemy of Al Qaeda was the action of a global village idiot. Another home-grown one backed him to the hilt. Both should go. Unfortunately I cannot see how we now put out the forest fire they started.

Please tell your party that we want desperately to vote for you. I would however, urge everyone not to vote Labour either this summer or at the General Election whilst under current management.
