PEOPLE in Dursley and Cam are being invited to have their say on naming the former Lister Petter site earmarked for a 600 home, mixed-use development.
The South West Regional Development Agency, developers St Modwen, Vale Vision and the Cam and Dursley Market and Coastal Towns Initiative partnership are all urging people to come up with some ideas.
Two names have already been put forward by St Modwen and they would like to know if either is preferred or if anyone has any suggestions of their own.
The existing ideas are Delkin Village and Delkin Vale, both referring to the stream which runs through the site, the first of which has already been criticised by both Cam Parish Council and Dursley Town Council.
Comments and suggestions on the potential name of the development should be sent to Rupert Joseland, St Modwen Developments, Freepost, NAT16350, Birmingham, B16 8BR before May 7.
