9am-1pm, Dursley, under the Town Hall. Slimbridge Horticultural Society stall as part of Dursley Farmers Market.

10am-4.30pm, Hinton, Hinton Cottage (on the road between Brookend and Purton). Great Plant Sale and Open Garden. All proceeds to St John's Church, Purton and St Andrew's Church, Sharpness.

10.30am-2pm, Coaley Village Hall plant sale

1-3pm, Stinchcombe, Yercombe Lodge. Spring Fair. Stalls include cakes, plants and craft; tombola, raffle, refreshments and a display of art work. All proceeds to the Day Centre.

8pm, Wotton, Royal British Legion Club. Revivalz Covers Band. Admission by ticket only, available from RBL Club, Andrew's Electrical, Long Street, Discount Used Cars, Bear Street or on the door. Adults only.

Sunday, May 23

11am, Uley, from the Crown Pub. Friends of Uley School annual fun run and family walk. Please arrive early to allow time to register. The run/walk will be followed by a barbecue. Dogs allowed on run/walk only but not permitted on school grounds.

2.30pm, Coaley, Village Hall. Short Mat Bowls.

2.30-5pm, Wotton, Town Hall. Town hall teas in aid of Tyndale Choral Society.

7pm, Wotton, Bluecoat School. Wotton Film Society AGM followed by showing of 'Calendar Girls'. Non members welcome.
