SIR - No one now can argue that this illegal war, sold on a li, is anything but a disaster for which we will all pay a very high price. Moderate Arab nations have been turned into terrorist recruiting centres.

In the meanwhile not a thing is being done by America to counter the global environmental disaster Bush's paymasters are happy to see - as long as company profits hold up till their retirement.

Since loss of votes is the only global effect both Bush and Blair really fear let's all do our bit please. I repeat my message of a few weeks ago. Sorry, David Drew, but let's ensure Labour is thrashed into oblivion. Maybe then even they will dump this American lackey steering us all onto the rocks.
