Two sides from GB Britton, along with Barnwood and Tetbury, will contest the semi -final of the men's County triples at Tetbury.
Ray Pugh, Terry Lewis & Alan Taylor from GB Britton were tracked most of the way by John Wood, Mike Lowe and John Roach of Cheltenham until the latter stages of the game before winning 15 - 10.
Mike Hurse, Tim Hughes and Paul Bryant, also GB Britton, had a much easier passage against John Holmes, John Tombs and Tim Webb of Victory Park, winning 22-13 though in truth they were ahead 21-4 at the midway stage and only scored one more shot thereafter.
Tetbury's Terry Wilkins, Roger Bird and Chris Brown had a tough game against Malcolm Dyer, John Lock and Brian Liddington of Coleford with the end result always in doubt until Brown picked up a five on the seventeenth end to give them a seven shot advantage going in to the last end.
Liddington killed the final end once but was unable to do so a second time and Tetbury won the game 19-13.
Pride of place went to Barnwood's Sharky and Pat Main and Dave Stokes, in awesome form, who finally beat Kevin Parsons, Robert McDowell and Paul Mellerup of Cam Mills by four shots.
At one stage Stokes was 12-4 ahead but Cam Mills kept reeling them in, often holding several shots but time after time Stokes pulled off superb shots to keep his men ahead of the game to win 16-12.
The semi final line up is Bryant of GB Britton versus Main of Barnwood and Taylor GBB will play Bird of Tetbury. The game starts at 6.15.
