'Hangover' ends with tennis club finals

IN tandem with the Wimbledon fever that has been gripping the nation Coaley Tennis Club has been running its own 'Wimbledon Hangover' tournament.

The 'Hangover' culminates this weekend with the Under 12s and 13 to 16-year-olds finals on the Saturday, and the Seniors on Sunday.

Both days start at 2pm, at the Coaley courts. The club might not have a Henman Hill but excitement will be high. A festive barbecue will be held on both days at about 4pm, and all are invited to join in the fun and cheer the finalists on.

There are trophies for all sections and all children will receive a small gift.

This is the third year that the Tournament has been running. Coaley Tennis Club is well established and caters for all ages from about seven years up. The courts, which have good floodlights, are open to anybody who cares to book. Contact: Barbara Tong 01453 890292.
