Power to the grey movement

SIR - In reply to Mr Booth who wrote on behalf of the Green Party.

I appreciate the work his party is doing for pensioners. I would, however, warn from past experience, many admirable movements have failed in the past because they have spent more time fighting each other than for the common cause.

I, myself, consider the Grey Power pensioner movement will eventually become one of the most powerful groups in this country.

I may be wrong but the voters at the General Election at Weston Super Mare will point us in the right direction and I hope as friends we can all go forward together.
