A memorable week

SIR - We would just like to say how much we enjoyed this year's Dursley Festival. From the Youth Cabaret on July 4 through to the skate-boarding event on July 11, the week was packed with exciting and memorable events.

The big festival day was also wonderful, especially the carnival procession with its dragons, campers and liquorice all sorts.

Congratulations to everyone who helped to organise this year's Dursley Festival, especially Sophie Shuttlewood who seemed to be everywhere at the same time.

We look forward to next year's festival with great anticipation!
