IN quite spectacular style a portable building - to be the home of a Government-backed nursery - was crane-lifted into Dursley in the autumn. SIR - I have lived in Upper Cam all my life like Mr Jenkins, who was a near neighbour, and have happy memories of The Delkin from Cam Green to The Brook. It seemed to be always filled with wild flowers, primroses, bluebells, dog roses. The name does not transfer well to a housing development of the 21st century. It will be a Delkin village with no Delkin - and we already have Delkin Road in Cam. read more
