Home reality bites

Sir - As a resident of Berkeley I am glad to see that Cllr Ben Francis has nailed his colours to the mast upon the subject of Berkeley becoming a principal settlement.

Other comments by the Government Inspector were that the purchasers of these mainly executive homes would help to regenerate Sharpness docks and that bus companies would rush to provide additional services.

Am I out of touch with reality or has the Inspector, like his master John Prescott, completely lost his way?
