Generations gather

FIVE generations from one family gathered together for the first time this week in Wotton-under-Edge.

Violet McNally (great-great-grandmother), Margaret Webb (great-grandmother), Barry Webb (grandfather) Zoe Webb (mother) and two-month old Cody Webb spent a week together while mother and baby visited from Weymouth.

Mrs Webb said: "It is the first time that the family has been together. Cody has been getting a lot of attention. We had a family gathering at the weekend and lots of people came round. The next time we will all get together will be his Christening."

Cody was the first baby to be born on New Year's Day at the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
