Joke brightened up a bad week

A BIG thank you to the Gloucestershire Gazette. I fell for it!

I have had a really bad week. My Dad rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital Monday, I had to endure an Endoscopy on Tuesday and the dog was rushed to the vets this morning after collapsing in a heap.

Reading your article on the proposed Dursley Flyover I can honestly say it was the most I have laughed for a long time.

On first reading it on my way to work on the bus, it was a shock; three hours later at lunch time, it suddenly clicked what day it was. I laughed so much I could not stop. The more I think about it, the more silly I feel.

Well done.

Just to prove how much you "got" me, I have attached a photo.
