Halls have it all

Hall XI v Stone XI

THE Hall family team played their first match of the season against a side from Stone CC on Sunday, May 15.

Stone won the toss and put the Halls in, although the decision backfired as Pete Hall made 103.

The innings was pushed on further down the order as Kevin Hall (30*) and Mark Hall (16) formed a partnership in excess of 30.

The Halls were eventually bowled out for 220.

Stone found the going difficult in reply as their opponents spread the wickets around.

Seventy-four-year-old Roly Hall kept wicket tidily as ever as Stone finished on 120 all out.
