THE Gloucestershire-based Meningitis Trust is urging women of all ages and fitness levels from the Dursley area to join it for the Hydroactive Women's Challenge - a five kilometre charity fun run.
Jane Denley, event organiser, explained: "The 2005 Hydroactive Women's challenge takes place on Sunday, September 4 in London's Hyde Park, Liverpool's city centre and Birmingham's city centre.
"The Meningitis Trust is providing free transport to Birmingham for anyone taking part in the event who raises more then £50 in sponsorship.
"The coach will leave the Meningitis Trust head office, Bath Road, Stroud, at 8am on Sunday, September 4.
There is limited availability so places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis."
"By running and raising money for the Meningitis Trust, you will help us provide support for life for the thousands of people affected by meningitis every year.
"In return we offer our team a complete support package, including a free t-shirt and training, dietary, and fundraising advice."
Registration for the event costs £15 with £5 of that going straight to the Meningitis Trust.
Call the Meningitis Trust on 01453 759025 to receive a registration form or enter directly with Hydro Active Women's challenge by logging on to: www.hydroactivechallenge.co.uk and select the Meningitis Trust as your charity of choice.
Those entering online should call the Meningitis Trust 01453 769025 in order to receive their free race pack and Meningitis Trust t-shirt.
