CHIPPING SODBURY has a new vet after veteran David Riley retired earlier this year.
Mark Binns is the new man in charge at Horse Street Veterinary Clinic after setting up his own business Animal House Vets last year.
Mark has moved from a small clinic in St George, Bristol and is said to be delighted with the new premises.
He told the Gazette: "We aspire to provide a personal and professional service to our clients offering quality, first opinion veterinary medicine and surgery.
"The intention is to build on the personal qualities that Mr Riley has brought over the years developing its loyal clientele and to further develop the clinic through investment in the clinic itself and most importantly its excellent staff."
The Horse Street vets now has rapid access to modern diagnostic equipment such as blood analysis equipment, x-rays, endoscopes and ultrasound as well up-to-date modern medical and surgical treatments.
The nursing team, which remains unchanged, is able to give clients advice on a range of everyday healthcare issues such as worming, flea treatments and nutrition.
Added Mr Binns: "I am also very pleased to announce that both the veterinary nurses will be staying on at the clinic.
"Together they have many years of happy service at Horse Street and know the clients and most importantly their pets very well."
Opening hours will also stay the same: 8.30am-7pm Monday to Friday and 10am-12noon on Saturdays. Call 01454 312636.
