THE third Affordable Art Sale is being held at Hawkesbury Upton Village Hall over the weekend of August 20-21 (10am-4.30pm).
As usual, proceeds from the raffle will go to charity. Last year, the event raised over £100 for Lepra. This year it will aid those suffering the famine in Niger.
Again ten well-known artists from around the south Cotswolds will be exhibiting - and hopefully selling - original works for prices between £40 and £150. There will be around 125 paintings plus ceramics.
Exhibiting artists are: Cyril Davies (Ashleworth), Margaret Feldon (Tetbury), Carolyn Galloway (Nailsworth), Mo Redfearn (Charfield), Val Ridler (Frampton Cotterell), Kate Ross (Kingswood), Sue Townsend (Tetbury), Sheila Warren (Cirencester), Mary Wilkins (Littleton-on-Severn) and Andy Critchley (Hawkesbury Upton).
Entry to the exhibition is free and there is extensive free parking. The event will be well signposted and the village hall is almost opposite the Beaufort Arms pub.
