Gloucestershire County Women's League Division One Oldland Abbotonians Ladies 4 Dursley Town Ladies 4
AN AMAZING four-goal haul from Julianne Farragher helped Dursley to an incredible comeback at Oldland Abbotonians.
The draw gave Town their first point of the season and lifts them off the bottom of the league.
Dursley took the lead after only ten minutes when Andrea Bonser made progress down the left and crossed for Farragher to make it 1-0.
The goal rocked the home side and Farragher was unlucky to be flagged offside when a second goal might have beckoned.
However, all the visitors' good work was undone on the half-hour when Oldland pulled level from a quickly taken throw after a mistake in the Dursley defence.
The equaliser sparked a torrid 15 minutes for Town as Oldland pinned the visitors back and scored three more goals to lead 4-1 at the break.
Dursley started the second half determined not to concede further goals, while probing for chances themselves.
Aimee Chivers replaced debutant Stacey Rowston on the left and Charlotte Palmer continued to worry the home side with her turn of foot.
The visitors' efforts eventually paid off when Bonser again set up Farragher, who pulled one goal back.
Farragher then got her hat-trick from an Emma Leahey free-kick to set up a barnstorming finale.
Oldland tried to put the game beyond doubt inside the last five minutes but it was not to be their day.
With injury-time beckoning, Dursley completed their incredible comeback as Farragher netted for the fourth time.
It was a terrific point for the young Town side to earn and cost the home side their second position in the league.
