Stained glass workshop

A STAINED Glass workshop weekend will be held at Under The Edge Arts in the Chipping Hall, Wotton-under-Edge, in the New Year.

Popular fortnightly classes have been taking place this season at the arts centre, run by Caroline Hatherell of Gold Pink Glass.

Her company was started in September last year. As a graduate of Swansea, Caroline has a BA (Hons) in Architectural Glass and many years stained glass studio experience, creating both new work and restoring old glass.

She said: "I have a passion for stained glass - I love introducing the beauty of coloured light into a space."

She added: "The regular classes at Under the Edge Arts have been going really well, and there has also been interest in my weekend workshops there.

"Perhaps people would like to offer friends or family a piece of stained glass they've produced themselves, as a Christmas present: they could make it during the January workshop."
