  • Walker's rights

THE improvement in seating on Stinchcombe Hill is welcomed, and the areas around the edge do look well (Gazette, June 24). However, not all is rosy on the hill. Public footpath CST39 is almost impassable near Drakestone Point, whilst the coincident permissive ride to Drakestone Point is impassable on horseback. The permissive ride near the 11th tee is also impassable. Of course, all permissive rides remain unmarked.
