Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division One Sharpness 9 Chalford 0
SHARPNESS cruised to victory over bottom side Chalford in a game in which they could have registered double figures.
Tommy Paterson opened the scoring after 25 seconds, slotting home a spill by the goalkeeper, who after this produced some fine saves to keep the score down.
Matt Frankham and Paterson added two more in the opening 15 minutes with some fine strikes.
Mitch Malshansky added a fourth on 35 minutes and Frankham got his second right on half-time.
With the game as good as over, manager Jake O'Neill brought off Mike Sherman, Dave Nash and Lee Driver-Dickerson and introduced Chris Andrews, Scott Young and Ian Watkins.
However, the changes failed to upset the rhythm of the Sharks and they had an equally effective second half.
Frankham notched his hat-trick, Dan Halsey scored a fine header from a Tim Thomas corner and Watkins finished with a brace, tapping in from few yards and a hitting classy volley in off the crossbar.
