Your presence could decide the future of your community centre

There has been some publicity recently about the future of the Community Centre at Rednock.

Those founder members and officers of the executive committee who pioneered the building of the Centre and its continued operation during the seventies and early eighties are naturally very concerned about the immediate future. The continuing success of the centre has now become too dependent on the dedication of one or two people.

The forthcoming AGM of the Association on Monday, April 24 is critical. It is important that a Chairman and other officers are elected, together with a working executive committee, so that the Association can continue to thrive.

The Centre belongs to the community of Dursley and district and as such it is up to all those who want to see it continue to run successfully to attend the meeting and elect a Chairman and executive committee.

Let us hope that there will be a large attendance to achieve this aim

Yours faithfully,

W.L.Hearle Ralph Darby Roger Davis Sam Hinder Roy Phillips Tom Martin
