I REFER to Keith Watson's article (Gazette Sept 24 2004), 'New bypass being called for' and the editorial comment on the same subject. I am also enclosing a copy letter dated Feb 1 2006 which explains that a proposal to 'improve' the B4066 is being put forward. This is despite a meeting and exhibition in 2004 when it was made quite clear that, like your newspaper, the people living in the area overwhelmingly felt neither road was viable. read more
