Yate motorbike racer is looking to move on
YATE youngster Danny Hedger proved he can do just as well on his big bike as on his minimoto after success at the Aprilla Superteam Championships.
He finished 1st and 2nd in horrible weather conditions, in the second round at Donington Park to gain his national licence.
That followed up good results in the first round at Brands Hatch, where he claimed his first trophy for 3rd place in the rain, and a 5th placed finish.
The 16 year-old became British super minimoto champion last year, and came second in the production class.
This year he started racing with the club mro or bemess, in order to gain his license.
He is now moving on to ride the bike he loves, his R6 Yamaha, staying with the mro, in the class Stock Sport Cup in April.
He hopes to do well in that, and next year hopefully he will be going to BSB, and race in their Stock Sport Cup.
He really needs some help from sponsors to help him on his way to his dream. Anyone interested can contact their parents on 01454 325416 or e-mail charmed1274@msn.com.
